Managed devices
Managed IT for manufacturing covers the office systems and the network your production floor shares with them. Cyber Shift Technologies, based in North Canton, handles patching and device-health monitoring for your computers and servers, plans the floor network with your equipment vendors, and helps protect purchasing from fake-invoice email. Machine controls stay with their vendors unless agreed.
Where Manufacturing IT Breaks Down
Most IT problems on a shop floor are invisible until the line stops.
A stopped line isn't just another ticket, and your IT plan should say so.
Floor Equipment Nobody Calls 'Real IT'
PLCs, legacy machines, and shop-floor devices rarely fit a typical IT scope, but a line stoppage costs the same whether the cause is 'real IT' or not.
A Missed Patch Can Stop the Whole Line
A single unpatched server or switch can halt a production line for hours before anyone upstream even knows there is a problem.
The Air-Gap Myth Leaves a Real Gap
Even equipment that never touches the public internet still shares a network with the servers that do, so isolation alone is not protection.
An MSP That Never Sees a Shop Floor
A generic provider that has never supported a shop floor treats a stopped line like any other ticket, not the emergency it actually is.
IT Costs That Swing With No Warning
Unpredictable IT bills are hard to plan around when your own margins already move with material and labor costs.
Outdated Systems Slowing Down Production
Systems nobody has touched in years slow down every process built on top of them, and the risk grows quietly until something fails.
IT Built for the Floor and the Office
What we cover for a manufacturing business.
Networking, phones, email security, and the platforms your office and floor both depend on.
Co-Managed IT Services
If someone already looks after the floor and the front office, we back them up with help desk support, project help and shared tools, without replacing them.
IT Consulting & Projects
A local planner who budgets your IT projects around your production schedule, not a generic IT wish list.
Phone Systems & VoIP
Phone and VoIP service built for a front office and a production floor that both need to reach each other fast.
Business Networking and Wi-Fi
Wired and wireless coverage that reaches the floor, not just the front office, installed, configured and supported by the same team as your servers.
Email Security & Phishing Protection
Layered email filtering aimed at the fake-invoice and wire-fraud emails that target purchasing and accounts payable, plus security awareness training with monthly phishing simulations.
IT Management for Microsoft 365
Your team's email, files, and Teams calls, configured, secured, and kept current without someone in the office having to own it.
How We Work With Manufacturers
We plan around where the work actually happens.
Local response, a plan that includes the floor, and one team behind your network, phones, and security.
We Know a Line Stoppage Isn't a Normal Ticket
A stopped line costs money every minute. Our team knows the difference between a floor emergency and a password reset, and you get fast, local response from North Canton.
We Plan Around the Floor, Not Just the Office
Older machines and floor equipment often share a network with the office. We plan, configure and support that network with the floor in mind, and we look at your equipment with you before saying what we'll cover.
Local Enough to Show Up on the Floor
When remote support isn't enough, we schedule an onsite visit around your location and your agreement, and work the problem on the floor in person.
IT, Phones, and Security Under One Local Team
One team behind your network, phone system, and security, with 235+ businesses served since 2016.

What Clients Say
Our clients, in their own words.
Real names from Canton, in their own words. We've earned 73 five-star Google reviews.
I had the pleasure of working with Cyber Shift for a few years as they supported the IT needs of a manufacturing company of about 500 associates. Cyber Shift prioritizes customer service, their team is skilled, very responsive, and professional.
While many companies struggle to decide if they should manage their IT department internally or use an MSP, our use of Cyber Shift was an easy decision that has far exceeded our expectations.
Before You Call
Straight answers before you book a call.
Including how we handle older floor equipment, and what NIST support actually means for your shop.
How can managed IT keep our production line from stopping?
We help reduce interruptions by reviewing the office IT and network infrastructure that production depends on, monitoring covered systems and planning recovery priorities. Agree maintenance windows and escalation contacts around your shifts. Support for PLCs, industrial controls and machine software requires a separate scope discussion with the appropriate equipment specialists.
Do you support legacy machines and PLCs alongside modern office systems?
We support the network, servers and computers your floor equipment connects to, with 24/7/365 SOC monitoring on the computers and servers your agreement covers. PLCs and older machines vary a lot in how they connect and who services them, so we look at your specific equipment with you before saying what we'll cover.
Can you help us meet NIST requirements a customer or contract asks for?
Yes. We help manufacturers work toward the NIST Cybersecurity Framework when a customer, insurer or contract asks for it, with access controls, monitoring and documentation that support your answers. If a contract names a different standard, we'll tell you plainly whether it's work we take on. We don't certify or guarantee compliance.
