Small business IT support brings day-to-day technology, security and planning into a clear set of responsibilities. Cyber Shift Technologies works with Northeast Ohio businesses to review existing systems, identify recurring problems and discuss managed support, help for an internal IT person or a defined project based on the work involved.
When IT gets in the way
The cost is more than another support ticket.
Recognize the recurring problems before choosing the services to address them.
The Same Problems Keep Coming Back
Temporary fixes get people working again, but recurring login, network or application problems keep taking time away from customers.
Nobody Owns the Whole Picture
Your internet provider, software supplier and IT contact each handle a piece. Unclear responsibilities make an ordinary problem harder to resolve.
Account Access Has Become Hard to Track
People change roles, old accounts stay active and shared passwords spread. Review who can reach company information and why.
Backups That Nobody Has Practiced Restoring
A successful backup notification is only part of the picture. Agree recovery priorities and how restoration will be tested.
Growth Exposes the Gaps
An office move, more employees or another location can reveal limitations in your network, equipment and account setup.
Your IT Person Needs More Capacity
An internal employee may understand the business well and still need help desk coverage, project help or access to additional tools.
Support around your business
Find the help your team needs now.
Connect day-to-day work with security, recovery and room to grow.
Co-Managed IT Services
Keep your internal IT person or team in charge while discussing help desk support, projects and shared tools.
Email Security & Phishing Protection
Review protections and verification practices around business email, account access and payment requests.
Data Protection & Recovery
Work through backup coverage, recovery priorities and restoration checks for the information and systems you depend on.
Phone Systems & VoIP
Review how calls reach your team and compare phone options around your locations, working arrangements and budget.
Business Networking and Wi-Fi
Address office connectivity and Wi-Fi needs as equipment, employee numbers or locations change.
Business Process Automation
Review repeated handoffs and administrative work. A clear workflow may need straightforward automation rather than an AI agent.
A clear working relationship
Know what is covered and who owns it.
Use an agreed plan to guide support decisions and future changes.
Start with the business problem
Discuss the interruptions, risks and costs you can see. Use those needs to decide which technical work deserves attention first.
Choose the right support relationship
Fully managed IT, co-managed help and a defined project have different responsibilities. Agree ownership and scope before work begins.
Plan changes around existing work
Identify the systems your team depends on before planning a move or replacement. Ask how access, vendors and handoffs will be handled.
Make the next decision easier
Keep priorities, responsibilities and renewal information understandable so the next technology decision does not start from scratch.

Before You Call
Straight answers before you book a call.
Questions about support scope, existing IT staff and changing providers.
What does managed IT support include for a small business?
It usually covers help desk support for your employees, patching and third-party app updates, device-health monitoring, and managed EDR/MDR with SOC monitoring on your computers and servers. Email filtering, backups and Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace work depend on your plan. Your agreement lists what's included and how project work is estimated.
Can you work alongside our existing IT person?
Yes. Co-managed IT is intended to support an internal IT person or team rather than replace them. The work can include help desk support, project help or shared tools. Both teams should agree responsibilities, access and handoffs before starting, with the scope recorded in the proposed agreement.
How do we change IT providers without losing access?
Begin by identifying business-owned accounts, administrator access, supplier contacts, renewals and the information the new provider will need. Plan the handoff before cancelling existing services. The sequence depends on your current agreements and systems, so discuss responsibilities and any access gaps before deciding when to make the change.
Can you help if our business is not in a listed industry?
Yes. The industry list is a way to find relevant guidance, not a requirement for starting a conversation. Tell us about your employees, locations, applications and the problems you want to solve. We can discuss whether the services and proposed responsibilities fit your business before you make a commitment.
