Cyber Shift Technologies provides IT support for nonprofits and charities across Northeast Ohio from our North Canton office. We help staff and volunteers with computers, email, network access, cybersecurity and backups, including the systems donor records depend on. Nonprofit pricing is available on most services, and we help you check which software discounts you qualify for.
Where Nonprofit IT Breaks Down
Generic IT wasn't built for a mission and a tight budget.
Your technology plan should account for staff and volunteers, donor trust, program schedules and available funding.
Giving Tuesday Is No Time for an Outage
Year-end and giving-season traffic is when donations spike, and it's the worst possible time for a giving page or donor database to go down.
A Breach Puts Donor Trust at Risk
Donors trust you with their names, addresses and giving history. Losing that data costs more than the cleanup.
The Database Your Whole Mission Runs On
When your donor database or fundraising platform stalls, gift processing and board updates stall with it.
A Funder Asks About Your Security
A grantmaker or corporate sponsor may send a security questionnaire before a gift. It's much easier to answer when the safeguards are already in place and written down.
IT Spend Your Board Can Plan Around
A surprise repair bill is hard to explain to a board and harder to fit into a grant-funded budget.
Turnover and Donated Hardware Slow You Down
Nonprofits run lean, with high staff and volunteer turnover and a lot of donated or aging computers to keep secure.
IT Built for a Lean Team
Practical IT support for nonprofits and charities.
Networking, phones, email security, and the donor systems your mission runs on.
Co-Managed IT Services
Your office manager or volunteer keeps approving changes. We take the help desk work and help with projects, so they're not carrying IT alone.
IT Consulting & Projects
Projects planned and budgeted around your campaign calendar and giving season, not a generic IT wish list.
Email Security & Phishing Protection
Layered email filtering aimed at the fake-donor and fake-vendor emails that target gift and payment data, plus security awareness training with monthly phishing simulations.
IT Management for Google Workspace
Google Workspace set up, secured, and managed, including help reviewing nonprofit software offers. Eligibility and available savings depend on the provider's program.
Business Networking and Wi-Fi
Reliable networking for an office running lean, planned around giving season, when an outage costs the most.
Phone Systems & VoIP
Phone and VoIP service sized for a small staff that still needs donors and program partners to reach them.
How We Work With Nonprofits
Nonprofit pricing on most services, and a plan your board can follow.
One local team behind your network, phones and website, plus help checking which software discounts you qualify for.
We Plan Around How Nonprofits Run
Donor databases, giving seasons, tight budgets and a mix of staff and volunteers shape the plan from the first conversation.
Onsite Visits Planned Around Your Events
Most issues get fixed remotely. When something needs hands on site, we schedule it around program hours, events and your agreement.
Security Built Around Donor Trust and Funders
Access controls, device encryption, stronger sign-in and email filtering, aimed at protecting donor data and answering the security questions funders ask.
IT, Phones, and Web Under One Roof
One local team behind your network, phones and website, so a problem during giving season is one call, not three. 235+ businesses served since 2016.
Churches have their own page: IT support for church staff and ministries.

What Clients Say
Our clients, in their own words.
Real names from North Canton and Hartville, in their own words. We've earned 73 five-star Google reviews.
Cyber Shift is a very knowledgeable, professional, and efficient company. We've used them for website development, IT monitoring of all our computers, Google Workspace, web hosting, computer hardware, and more. I can't express how important it was for us to find a company that provides all of these services, and does an excellent job as well. Cyber Shift makes us feel like we're their number one priority. Our company is running better with the support of Cyber Shift. I highly recommend them.
My company just switched to Cybershift from our old vendor and made some pretty sweeping changes to our technology setup. There was a lot of moving parts, but they worked around my staff and got us transitioned over to our new systems with very minimal downtime or disruption. All of the techs were extremely patient with me and my staff and all of our questions and worked through a few issues that arose during the transition. Since then, they've been very responsive and helpful with any issues that have come up and they do a great job of remote assistance, but are willing to come on site when they need to. Very highly recommend.
Before You Call
Straight answers before you book a call.
Including cost, volunteer turnover, donor databases and a funder's security questionnaire.
How much does IT support for a nonprofit cost?
Nonprofit pricing is available on most of our services. Cost depends on your people, devices, locations and the support you need, so we look at your setup first and put the scope and cost in writing. We can also help you check which nonprofit software discounts you qualify for. Those programs change, so we confirm current terms first.
Can you help when volunteers come and go?
Yes. We help you replace shared logins with individual accounts and give each volunteer only the access their role needs. You'll have a record of who can reach what, and access comes off when someone steps away, so donor data and files stay with the organization, not with one person's login.
How can managed IT keep our systems up during Giving Tuesday and year-end?
We help you prepare by reviewing connectivity, account access, backup coverage and support contacts before a major campaign. Agree responsibilities with your donation-platform provider and confirm how urgent issues will be handled. We support the covered IT environment; the giving platform provider remains responsible for its service, and uninterrupted fundraising cannot be guaranteed.
Do you support donor databases and other nonprofit software?
We can review the computers, network, accounts and backup arrangements your donor database and other mission software depend on, and coordinate with your software providers. Bring a list of the platforms you use so we can agree support responsibilities. Software configuration, application updates and cloud-platform backups depend on the product and the agreed scope.
Can you help us answer a funder's security questionnaire?
Yes. We help you see what is actually in place, close the gaps that matter and answer accurately. The answers stay yours, so they should describe what you really do. We can also help you check which nonprofit software programs you qualify for. Those programs change, so we confirm current terms with the provider before you count on them.
