These terms cover your use of cybershifttech.com, the website of Cyber Shift Technologies, LLC (“Cyber Shift,” “we,” “us” or “our”), including the free guides, checklists and tools on it. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

This website isn’t a services contract

This website describes our IT and cybersecurity services and shares information we hope is useful. It isn’t an offer or a contract for services. If you become a Cyber Shift client, the written agreement you sign with us governs that work. These terms don’t change it, and if the two ever conflict, your agreement with us wins.

Sending a form, booking a call or chatting with us doesn’t make you a client, and it doesn’t commit you or us to any work.

Using the site

You’re welcome to browse, read and share links to our pages. Please don’t:

try to get into parts of the site or our systems that aren’t meant to be public, or test them for security weaknesses without our written permission;
interfere with how the site works or overload it with automated requests;
use our forms or chat to send spam, malware or anything unlawful;
pretend to be someone else when you contact us.

Our content and trademarks

The text, images, design, guides and checklists on this site belong to Cyber Shift Technologies or are used with permission. The Cyber Shift name and logo are ours. Please don’t copy any of it for your own commercial use without asking us first.

Other companies’ names and logos on this site, such as Microsoft, Google and the providers we work with, belong to their owners. Trademark notes in our site footer credit those owners where their marks appear. Naming a company or product doesn’t mean that company sponsors or endorses us.

Free guides, checklists and tools

Our blog posts, guides, checklists, Cybersecurity Checkup and other free resources give general information to help you think through IT and security decisions. They aren’t professional, legal, insurance or compliance advice for your situation. Following them doesn’t guarantee any security, compliance or insurance outcome.

For advice that fits your business, talk with us or another qualified IT professional. For legal or insurance questions, talk with your attorney or insurer.

Information on the site can go out of date. We work to keep it accurate, but we don’t promise that it’s complete or current.

Downloads

You can use the guides, checklists and other files you get from this site for yourself or inside your own business, and you can share them with your own team. Please don’t sell them, republish them or remove our name from them.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Cyber Shift Technologies, LLC isn’t liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of this website or its free resources. Our total liability for any claim about this website or its free resources is limited to $100.

Ohio law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about this website or these terms will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Stark County, Ohio.
